Biden - Etymology with Sanskrit roots

Biden has ancestors going back to India to East India Company period.
The root “bid” is connected to Indo European and official meaning is “to wait”. “en” is relic suffix to convert verbs to participles - noun and adjectives.
In English we say “I will bid my time” which means to wait. You also say “bid” to indicate separation like “I bid goodbye” and also to indicate “acquisition intent” like “I bid for the car in an auction”.
Now we will see Hindi and Sanskrit sounds. The sound in Hindi is “vidaai” or “bidaai” - विदाई or बिदाई which means to say farewell or bye. Here the meaning is similar to English “bid farewell” but opposite to “to waiting”. But one can wait to say goodbye in a huge ceremony.
The Sanskrit विद् or vid is to know or acquire knowledge and knowledge is wealth, so means to “acquire through bidding”. बित् ot bit is to divide or separate and like “separation”. In English we say “smashed to bits”.
बित्, विड्, and विट् mean “to sound or cry”, and विटः or viTah means paramour for whom you wait or “vvait” for your loved one and do bidding.
As you can see if one was not trained in linguistics, sounds, morphology of sounds, grammar, etc., they will mix up the sounds and meanings.
